MALVERN Town visit Bustlehome on Saturday in the Express and Star Premier Division (2.45pm) and will be hoping for a repeat of their home 6-0 success achieved exactly one month ago.

Town were disappointed to drop two points at home to Wellington on Tuesday night, when a win would have pushed them towards one of the leading places.

Town assistant manager Richard Anson said: "It is fair to say that we were disappointed with our performance, particularly after scoring an early goal. We thought that at half time we had only been playing at 75 per cent of our capability and if we upped it in the second half we would be OK, but the fact of the matter was, we did not and we could have no complaints with the final result."

Although Town have had one or two recent blips, they have still taken 24 points from their last 12 games, a ratio which if continued would still put them in good stead in future months.

Anson continued: "It is still early days, but we are aiming for a top five spot by Christmas and then with about half the season still to play, we will have a fresh look at things."

For tomorrow's visit to their Tipton-based hosts, boss Joey Rawle will have a full squad to pick from, with the exception of Matt Upton who still has ten days of his 35 day suspension to serve.

Rawle selects from: Alden, Higgins, Cotterill, Damore, Davies, Clayton, Walker, Stevenson, Ward, Holmans, Brooks, Thomas, Slade, Hooper, Tipton, Mogford and Dugdale.

On Tuesday (November 13) Town entertain Walsall Wood in the Hagley Green Commercials Premier Division Cup, Round One (7.45pm)

The second round Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup tie away to Bromsgrove Rovers, has now been arranged for Tuesday, November 27 (7.45pm).

Reserves

TOWN Reserves went down to 1-3 to Lye Town Reserves at the Langland Stadium last Saturday and will be hoping to make amends when they entertain Northfield in the first round of the Smedley Cook Cup, kick off 2.30pm.

In the third round of the WFA Junior Cup Town the Reserves have received another home draw, when they play host to Stratford Alliance side Bretforton OB, this fixture means that the first team's scheduled home game against Heath Hayes for this Saturday has been reversed.

Youth Team (Under 18's)

THE Town Under 18's beat Harrow Hill 1-0 after extra time in the second round of the Midland Youth League Cup at the Langland Stadium last Thursday.

This success means that the Town youngsters will line up at home to either Leamington or, interestingly, West Bromwich Albion in round three.

Next week the Town Youth side entertain Ross Town in the first round of the HFA County Youth Cup (7.30pm).
