CALLOW End Harriers FC now remain unbeaten in their last three Malvern Football League Division One games after they travelled to Ledbury last Sunday and gained a very creditable 3-3 draw against league leaders Bull Allstars.
BULL ALLSTARS 3, CALLOW END HARRIERS 3
Bull were shell-shocked at half time as Harriers had built up a 3-1 lead thanks to goals from Nathan Dixon (2) and a Dan Oakley super strike, this after the Bull had opened the scoring early on.
But full credit to Bull, who in the second half had Harriers pegged back for long periods and two great strikes on 56 and 80 minutes put them back on level terms at 3-3.
Harriers hung on and finished the game strongly with Man of the Match Gerwyn Lloyd, Nathan Dixon and Steve Hudson all going close with their efforts on goal.
Callow End Harriers, sponsored by Barry Hodgkiss Building & Construction Ltd, have no match this Sunday but the following week they visit Fromes Hill in the league.
Harriers have been drawn away to Fromes Hill in the quarter-finals of the Malvern Senior Cup on December 11. All games at 10.30am.
