WORCESTER Wolves are confident they can achieve a top four placing in their first season in the National Basketball League Division One.
The Wolves kick-off their league campaign at Mansfield tonight (8pm) - and having done better than expected in their National Trophy matches, the league will hold few fears for them.
Player-coach Rick Solvason said: "I think we have a good chance of finishing nearer the top than the bottom. After what we have seen so far, we are looking more towards being in the middle positions.
"The Trophy games have been a good pre-season to lead us up to this, and there are a lot of positives we can take.
"It is a good first game for us. Mansfield are a good team but it is a good chance for us to get off on the right footing."
Wolves should be at full strength, with point guard Ben Livingstone expected to be fit.
