SO Sajid Riasat wants an adult debate. I am 62 years of age and my life experience has drawn me to conclude that it is impossible to have a rational debate when someone has a misguided and muddled viewpoint.
This has been proved by Sajid Riasat as he reaches the lowest denominator by using the race card when confronted with an alternative point of view.
I don't suffer from xenophobia but suffer with arthritis and the occasional shortage of cash. If my remarks seem flippant, it is the only way to answer such bigotry.

IN reply to Mr Riasat (You Say, November 1), if any of us dare to criticise someone "foreign", sure enough, along comes the accusation "racist and xenophobic".
This is a knee-jerk reaction from Mr Riasat - yet he has the nerve to call us small-minded.
GEORGE COWLEY,
Worcester.
