A RARE public telephone kiosk has become the latest addition to a Bromsgrove museum.
The Second World War kiosk, which was for many years housed at the Brintons carpet factory, in Kidderminster, is now on show at the Avoncroft Museum in Stoke Heath, near Bromsgrove.
It was officially unveiled on Monday by Michael Brinton, chairman of Brintons Ltd.
The box, which was situated near the main Corporation Street gatehouse of Brintons' factory, was donated to the museum in the summer of 1999.
Since then, a small team of volunteers - John Young, Dave Hall and Roy Hawkesworth - have been busy renovating it.
The kiosk joins 20 others which make up the National Telephone Kiosk Collection at the museum.
