THE press gathered to interview two different players with rather similar stories after Saturday's game.
Both Ritchie Appleby and Bo Henriksen can claim to have scored on their debut for Harriers.
Appleby is unwanted at Swansea due to the upheaval there, while Henriksen is up for grabs because of cash problems at his Danish club Herfolge.
They are looking to put themselves in the shop window and perhaps eventually end up a permanent fixture at Aggborough if finances allow.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-olds appear to be big admirers of boss Jan Molby - but for differing reasons.
Henriksen, who has scored goals at the highest level in his country, admitted: "He has an excellent reputation in Denmark and could do everything with the ball.
"I think he was a hero for every kid in Denmark. And it's lifted my confidence just by him looking for me to come over and join Kidderminster."
Appleby declared: "Jan's a big reason why I'm here. I've worked well with him before and I just need to be given a chance. He knows what I can do."
Henriksen, who was on trial at Harriers earlier in the season, continued: "My club is short of money so they want me to leave. I'm trying to show what I'm capable of here.
"In England the tempo of football is better than in Denmark but the skills are not so good."
For Appleby, his first meeting with the Harriers players was just before the Orient game.
He said: "Instead of sitting around in the reserves, I want to be playing. The manager there has made it clear he wants to bring his own people in.
"The club is in uproar at the moment, things are not right off the pitch and there's not too much going right on it either. There is a lot of uncertainty."
He spent much of last season sidelined with injury but came back this year and appeared at Aggborough in Swansea's 2-0 win in September.
Appleby added: "I thought I did pretty well in that game and was quite influential."
