LEAGUE champions Bretforton VIC ended their recent poor form and avenged a recent County Cup defeat with a convincing Evesham Sunday League defeat of Hospital Club.
The main damage was done by Daryl Mitchell who hit a hat-trick with a further goal from Clements rounding off an excellent performance.
Badsey Rec were brought down to earth as visitors Evesham WMC scored five times through Atkinson (2), Rice, Steeds and Major.
The bottom two met at Guiting Rangers and it was visitors Tewkesbury Town who recorded their first league win of the season thanks to goals from Williams and Sollis.
Willersey march on at the top of Division Two as second half goals from Beale and Fraser helped overcome Red Horse. Second-placed Ashton were held by Pebworth for whom player/manager Wright was on target.
Third Division Ambassador made it six wins from six starts as goals from Young and Davis defeated Swan Sports.
Early pacesetters Broadway United were held at Honeybourne Gate Inn in a game of six goals.
The top two in Division Four both recorded comfortable wins. Leaders Badsey Rec Reserves hit nine past visitors Bretforton VIC with Smith hitting a treble. Lee Barton, meanwhile, hit four past Mountineers as Defford and Besford United maintained their promotion hopes.
Alan Barker gave Bell United a surprise lead at Broadway before goals from Bostock, Roulstone and Weston ended the home side's recent poor league form.
Crown Athletic continue to improve. This week goals from Stanley (2), Visor (2) and Hancock gave them a comfortable win over Shipston Sports.
Ashton Reserves produced their best form of the season with goals from Hunn (3), Kelsall and Loram helping account for Tewkesbury Town Reserves for whom Brown netted twice.
