PEOPLE from all over Alcester stood in two minutes' silence on Sunday to remember the area's war dead who gallantly fought for their country.
A service was held at St Nicolas' Church, with the Alcester Royal British Legion leading a procession.
And in Arrow, villagers gathered around to reflect on the hundreds of names immortalised on the war memorial outside Holy Trinity Church.
