AT the meeting on October 25, held at Wythall Village Hall, members were reminded to pay their deposits for the Christmas meal in December at the Chateau Impney.
It was hoped that everyone who had visited the Pearl Button Factory had enjoyed this unique experience.
Sue Barnard introduced Mel Matthews who gave a slide show and talk on post boxes and the postal service from the 19th century. Members will be keeping their eyes peeled for the historic post boxes scattered around the country. Elizabeth Croxford thanked him for such an interesting talk. Sue thanked the ladies who had provided the refreshments.
The next meeting will be on Thursday November 22 at 7.45pm when Kay Hart will be demonstrating Christmas table decorations.
