EVESHAM took a five-goal lead in the first quarter but Kings proved the stronger throughout to register a fine win.
The lead was reduced to two at half-time despite accurate Evesham shooting but the Kings defence really picked up in the next quarter.
Debutant Kelly Selby performed brilliantly in attack and a hard working defence left Evesham in with a chance but Kings proved too strong.
Goalkeeper Karen Roberts was named player of the match.

EXPERIENCED opposition used all their know-how to claw back a nine-goal deficit and take control of the second half of the game.
Elise Clarke, stepping onto court for the first time this season, worked the centre court well, while shooter Julia Bevan was named player of the match for her outstanding shooting which proved all in vain.
