AN hilarious Alan Ayckbourn comedy is on the bill at Studley Village Hall this week when the Cygnet Players return with their latest production.

A Chorus of Disapproval will be the last production to take place in the hall before it undergoes major refurbishment so the players are pulling out all the stops to make it special.

The play features the trials and tribulations of Pendon Amateur Operatic Society, which create comical and sometimes emotional results.

Cast members include Sean Keane as Guy, Sally Lindley as Fay, Rebecca Cook as Rebecca, Vivienne Clark as Linda and Bob Beard as Daffyd.

The curtain goes up at 7.30pm tonight and the show runs until Saturday.

Tickets cost £4 or £3.50 (concessions) either on the door or from 853812.
