THE Lager Louts picked up their first Malvern & District Pool League win of the season with a shock 5-4 home victory over Robopot OCP.

Also breaking their duck were the Magnificent Seven who beat the Super Dudes 7-2 to claim a double win for the sides from Upton Social Club. The Bar Studs are now the only side without a win and were shot down 7-2 at home again this week by Lee Tandy's FEAR.

The Legionnaires are back this Sunday with a trip to Malvern to play Robopot OCP at the Cross Keys.

The heavyweight clash of the week produced some great pool as The Baliff's played hosts to Baldies Battlers and the removal crew came out on top by a narrow 5-4.

Captain Harding fell to Baker in frame one then Andy Jones levelled against J Mills. Keith Reynolds beat Paul Davies 2-1 to the home side but Mark Boulton for the Baldies saw off Kosta Kyte for two apiece. Shaun Daly beat P Blake but Kenny Jones lost to Dave Jones for three all in the singles but then in the doubles A Jones & Harding and Daly & K Jones partnerships made it 5-3 to the home side but Blake & Mills took the ninth frame beating K Reynolds & K Kyte providing a top night's pool entertainment.
