FRESH from a sell-out season at the Edinburgh Festival, comic redneck Rich Hall will be providing his own brand of black humour at a favourite theatre for Worcester showgoers.
As part of his UK tour, the winner of last year's Perrier Award and his backing group The Black Liars, will visit the Roses Theatre at Tewkesbury next Friday
Described as a hangover set to music, the acclaimed singer, songwriter, truck-driver, international jailbird and bigamist - married six times, all to women named Brenda - will perform a selection of classics during his bourbon-soaked show.
As well as some of the newer pieces from his "hot, redneck cabaret", he will be singing Women Call It Stalking (It's Just Selective Walking) and Fast Cars & Airplanes - a tribute to all those rock stars who have died in tragic gardening incidents.
The comedian, who has appeared on television's Have I Got News For You and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, has been dubbed "blisteringly spontaneous and excruciatingly funny".
Tickets to see the award-winning American, who also scooped the Time Out Comedy Award 2000, are available from the theatre's box office on 01684 295074.
