JOE Higgs of Juniors A had two full length sets and a third of four games, won two and narrowly lost 8-11 in the fifth set of this Division Three Malvern Table Tennis League game to Richard Cullis, who saved Crackpots the whitewash.
Dave Smith and Gavin Oseman won all their singles for the A team.
Bill Nelson won all his singles and earned a point for the Junior C team. Rob Redden, Tony Hughes and Kevin Howard won two each and Rob and Kev the doubles for the Rovers.
Manor Park Express Juniors found Max Davison, Stephen Lindner and Alan Forsdike tough opposition and only one game went beyond 10-all.
RESULTS: Crackpots C 1, Malvern Juniors A 9; Manor Park Express Juniors 0, Crackpots B 10; CSSC Rovers 7, Malvern Juniors C 3.
