KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Jan Molby is continuing his policy of running the rule over potential new signings.
One of the latest is former Coventry City defender Thomas Cudsworth, who played for Harriers reserves in their 4-0 Avon League Division Two victory against Rochdale at Accrington Stanley on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old had a trial at Aggborough last season, but has been trying to earn a contract with Bour-nemouth.
Also having a run out for the second string was winger Michael Keegan from Swansea City.
Molby only recently boosted his squad with the loan signings of Richard Appleby from Swansea and Bo Henriksen from Danish First Division side Herfolge.
Molby said: "I'm only prepared to bring people in who will be an improvement on what we've got and wouldn't have brought Bo and Richie here if I didn't think they were."
"We've got a lot of the things that people criticised us for not having last season. We have more urgency in our play, we are physically stronger, we defender setpieces better."
Meanwhile, Harriers are preparing for bigger attendances in the build up to Christmas.
More than a third of the seated season ticket holders bought tickets for today's FA Cup first round clash against fellow Third Division outfit Darlington and the next three league opponents, Rushden & Diamonds, Luton and Rochdale, have all asked for their full 1,800 allocation in the South Stand terrace.
