I SEE the silly season is on us again with Luton Town Council calling the Christmas lights "luminous festival" in order not to offend Muslims.

If Christianity and Christmas is so offensive to Muslims, why do so many profit from it?

We see restaurants advertising for Christmas parties, Muslim taxi drivers charging double on Christmas Eve and shops selling Christmas goods.

Surely this is hypocritical? If Christmas causes offence to Muslims wouldn't it be better for us to show our respect for their religion by boycotting these establishments.

Or do they want to have their cake and eat it, despise Christianity - but make money from it?
