INSPIRATIONAL skipper Ian Wright, who scored the decisive goal in Hereford United's FA Cup win over Wrexham, is suspended for the Conference clash at Northwich Victoria on Saturday.
Also missing through suspension will be John Snape and Scott Goodwin, but caretaker boss Phil Robinson says the trio's absence creates a window of opportunity for others in the squad.
"There's competition for places and now there is an opportunity for someone to come and show what they can do and do well," he said.
Robinson also revealed it had been a difficult decision to pick himself for the 'Match of the Day' game against Wrexham but said his options were forced upon him.
"It was difficult because I'd been out for such a long time, but from what I'd seen the only other option was John Shirley but he was playing at right back so I played," he said.
"But it was good to be out there in the middle and in control and to be able to have an influence over events on the pitch."
