MALVERN'S Stella Bayliss made the journey down the M5 to Summerhouse Equitation Centre a profitable one, when she scored a double on her promising four-year old Bright Colours.
The pair headed both the 2' 92 and 3' open show jumping classes at the Gloucester venue, against opposition from several counties.
Bright Colours a 15.2hh skewbald gelding bred at Ledbury, was one of the youngest equines at the show and has been with Stella from a yearling.
"We jumped in the first class at Summer-house but the ponies proved too fast at that height," she said. "When the humps went up it gave the horses a chance!
"I didn't push Bright Colours as he's so young, but he can turn sharply. He also won two classes at the Forest of Dean recently and qualified for the Trailblazers regional."
