YOUR report (Evening News, November 6) that trees may be dug up in the grounds of Worcester's Newtown Hospital to construct a car park saddens me.
I was last a patient in Newtown 11 years ago. I found the surrounding flowers, shrubs, lawns and trees very soothing and relaxing.
I used to watch the birds in a tree from my dormitory window.
