Harriers came close on 26 minutes with their first shot on target as Bennett rose well to glance a Clarkson cross with his head that had keeper Marriott scrambling across his goal line to make the save at his right-hand post. Dean Bennett who was revelling in his role up front.
However, Lincoln hit back and earned a corner. From the set-piece, Harriers' Sall and Williams combined to block a close-range Cameron strike on 28 minutes.
Then left-back Stamps had to head a towering header from centre-back Holmes off the line as the home side enjoyed their best spell.
Harriers responded and Appleby's 30-yard free-kick on 35 minutes was plucked out of the air above his head by Marriott.
Henrikson drove straight at Marriott five minutes later when Larkin pulled the ball back after Clarkson had found him in space on the right flank.
It was a good strike from the Dane which forced an instinctive block from the Lincoln keeper but Harriers were to miss a good chance just a minute from the end of normal time in the first half.
Bennett's dazzling right-wing run provided Larkin with a super opportunity on the edge of the six-yard box but the on-loan Wolves striker blazed the ball disappointingly over the bar when he should have done better.
