FUND-raising by First Midland Red in Worcester has raised a massive £1,000 for charity.
A cricket fun day arranged by the company's Sports and Social Club, saw rival garages from different depots take up the sporting challenge for the County Air Ambulance.
The event saw a range of food stalls and sporting fun between the two teams to contribute towards the amount.
"This was a great triumph for the sports and social club it was the first major fund-raising day they have carried out. Their evening fund-raising events, which included raffles, were also a great success," said Midland Red spokesman Austin Birks.
"The amount raised has put them well on the way to carrying out another charity event for next year."
The cheque was presented to Anne Newell from County Air Ambulance.
