FAIRY tale starlet Cinderella will switch on the Christmas lights in Droitwich Spa this Saturday.
The Advertiser and Droitwich Spa Association for Retail, Tourism and Services (DARTS) launched the Get Switched On competition to find a special child to undertake the coveted role.
We asked youngsters to tell us which pantomime character they would like to be and why. After sorting through all the fantastic entries, we have finally picked the winner.
Lucky Suzanne Richter wrote to your No.1 newspaper saying she wanted to be Cinderella because she is: "Lovely, good and kind to everyone and makes them happy. I want to be just like her."
Five-year-old Suzanne, of Nightingale Close, is dressing up as her favourite character for the grand switch on in High Street at 4.30pm.
She will be accompanied by mayor Maureen Lawley.
There will be bell ringers, carol singing and children's entertainment.
