SUPERSTAR students from schools in Bromsgrove are putting on a special show to promote citizenship.
Around 100 pupils from four town schools are taking part in the musical extravaganza at South Bromsgrove High School.
The production is being staged in association with the Malachi Trust, an independent group working to promote citizenship.
Modern issues
It highlights some of the modern issues facing young people and encourages good citizenship amongst all.
Participants have been practising what they preach with pupils working as a team to put on the event.
Year eleven students from the host school will be treading the boards, while children from St John's Middle School and Aston Fields Middle School will provide musical accompaniment.
Energetic children from Rigby Hall School, in Aston Fields, will be dancing in the show.
Year nine pupils enjoy the performance tomorrow afternoon and parents and friends are invited along in the evening for a second show.
Assistant head at the Charford Road school, Malcolm Davies said: "This is an excellent way of promoting citizenship, working tightly with schools in the pyramid."
