LITTLE treasures from a village school near Droitwich Spa raised bags of cash for Children in Need.
Youngsters at Cutnall Green First School, in School Lane, teamed up with their favourite teddy, Pudsey, on Friday and took part in a fun-packed treasure hunt.
Each child paid 50p to enter and extra donations rolled in because it was also the school's annual open day and many visitors were on site. The money is still being counted.
Headteacher Michele Humphreys said: "We had a fantastic day and the children loved the treasure hunt."
Each year, the BBC Children in Need Appeal raises millions of pounds for disadvantaged children by holding a TV telethon.
Pudsey Bear is the charity's much-loved mascot.
