FINAL plans for a new 53-home development in Smallwood were set to be discussed by Redditch Council last night.
Details of the development, next to the new B&Q superstore and mosque on the old Alcad site, were outlined for councillors on the planning committee.
The application already has outline planning permission.
The development will see a mix of houses, including two-bedroom flats and two, three and four-bedroom houses.
The front of the small estate on Union Street will all be three-storey buildings.
Councillors were due to hand to officers the final authority of whether the scheme could go ahead.
This would be pending certain conditions were met by developers Wimpey Homes.
