A model of HMS Kingfisher could be sailing for new waters.
Councillor Pat Wilson wants the model boat, which was on display in the Kingfisher Centre, to be docked in Redditch Council's One Stop Shop, where she says more people will notice it.
Until the Kingfisher redevelopment began it had been housed in a glass case in the centre.
Redditch adopted the 15th HMS Kingfisher in 1972 when Mrs Wilson was chairman of the council. The authority had to fend off moves by Hull to adopt the boat.
The model is of the 14th boat of the same name from the Second World War.
