ABOUT £20,000 has been made available to improve housing support services for vulnerable people in Redditch.
The £19,953 boost, part of Government allocations of £42 million to local authorities, will help Redditch Council set up the infrastructure for a programme called Supporting People, due to come into force in April 2003.
The programme aims to provide high quality, cost effective, housing-related support services such as sheltered accommodation wardens.
