Released December 3.

Three star

WHEN the Tweenies' single was produced it was placed at 14/1 as being the Christmas Number 1.

Before even being released, it has risen to 2/1, which will inevitably lead to the Tweenies' creators rubbing their hands in glee and having a very merry Christmas indeed.

Not as annoying as the Teletubbies and less helium-enhanced than the Chipmunks, Milo, Bella, Fizz and Jake can actually be listened to with the volume up.

Their single I Believe in Christmas is upbeat and fun and will no doubt have youngsters strutting their funky stuff on the dancefloor throughout the festive period.

There are three other tracks on the single, all taken from the forthcoming album, imaginatively titled The Christmas Album.

Their cover of Merry Christmas Everybody, although not as good as the original, is also great fun.

Coming from the 'Lets keep Cliff and Westlife off the Christmas Number 1 slot' school of thought, this reviewer thinks the paying public could do worse than let the Tweenies have their day.
