TEENAGE tennis prodigy Michael Crooks has qualified for the Sunday Telegraph/David Lloyd Leisure Junior Tennis Grand Prix final.
The Winyates Green 17-year-old, who plays for Pershore Tennis Club, is in La Manga, Spain until Wednesday.
Crooks has spent the summer collating performance related points at tournaments nationwide.
He qualified second in the U18 boys category, beating over 8,000 players along the way and has been taking on 31 other finalists this week.
Michael, whose favourite tennis player is Andy Roddick, hopes to play tennis at the highest level.
The Sunday Telegraph Junior Tennis Grand Prix, with the firm backing of the Lawn Tennis Association, is now in its fifth year and has become an established part of the youth tennis circuit.
The final will be filmed and broadcast on Sky Sports in mid December.
