ALVECHURCH Parish Council is urging concerned parents whose children are no longer automatically entitled to attend parish schools to air their views at a meeting next week.
Youngsters from Rowney Green and Bordesley have been excluded from the Bromsgrove schools' catchment area under the Bromsgrove Review.
Bromsgrove Council has arranged a series of area community forums, the first of which takes place at the Council House on Thursday, November 29 from 7.15pm, which will offer people the chance to have their say on local issues.
Parish council clerk Gill Lungley said the parish had been split.
She said while most parish youngsters were able to go to Alvechurch and Bromsgrove schools some, for example those living in Rowney Green and Bordesley, were in the Redditch catchment area.
Mr Hollingworth added Bromsgrove MP Julie Kirkbride was also on board.
