A CAR used to transport an eight-year-old wheelchair-bound Redditch boy was daubed in paint stripper during a spate of similar attacks at the weekend, writes Becky Procter.
Sharon Robbinson, of Batchley Road, is outraged after vandals poured the liquid, which could have been brake fluid, over her Peugeot estate on Friday night.
The car was parked outside Mrs Robbinson's home when it was targeted some time after 6pm and the mum is appealing for anyone who saw anything to come forward.
Mrs Robbinson, 31, said she chose the car because its larger size helped with transporting her son, Bradley, who has cerebral palsy and severe learning difficulties.
The attack on Mrs Robbinson's car was one of four similar incidents in the Batchley area at the weekend.
Anyone with information can ring Redditch police central sector on 584888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
