ONE of the world's greatest operatic stars will be performing in a gala performance in Warwick next week.
Dame Kiri Te Kanawa stars in an evening of classical arias by Mozart, Richard Strauss and Puccini, accompanied by pianist Julian Reynolds, at Warwick Arts Centre on Tuesday.
Famed for her great operatic interpretations, Dame Kiri has worked with all the world's top opera houses and the leading conductors of the day.
She became a household name virtually overnight after her debut in The Marriage of Figaro at the Royal Opera House in 1971.
The performance starts at 8pm and tickets cost £10.50-£45 from the box office on 024 7652 4524.
