THE recent meeting was the AGM, chaired by president Hilary Taylor.
Members were informed of the refurbishment of WI House in Worcester and the invitation to visit on November 15.
Also, an invitation for two members to attend the Webheath WI party in December was received.
Six shoeboxes, filled with items for children, were taken by Shirley and Hilary to a school to be transported to Romania.
Hilary gave a report on the half-yearly council meeting, held at Stourport.
Then the treasurer presented the financial report, followed by the annual report. Hilary gave her chairman's address and was voted back for her second year as president.

The next meeting will be the Christmas meeting with a traditional supper and carol singing.
