AT the AGM, treasurer Jeanne Bovett presented a healthy state of accounts thanks to successful fund-raising activities throughout the year.
Retiring president Sylvia Cartwright's report reminded members of all the varied events in which they had taken part during the year.
Ann Thurrell gave a report on the half-yearly council.
Letters were read out thanking Hopwood for successfully hosting the group meeting.
Members were asked to vote for a new president and committee members. Ann Thurrell has agreed to become president.
Doreen Springer spoke to members about her Denman course on garden design. She finished by giving everyone a potted herb that she had grown from seed.
The luncheon club have arranged two dates, the first on November 22 and then a visit to WI House in December.
The next meeting will be the birthday party, hopefully a skittles evening, followed by an American supper.
