AN award-winning artist will be putting on his first display at his home in Droitwich since he moved there two months ago.
Neill Lowdon's exhibition features a mixture of paintings, pastels and watercolours of still life and scenes from Cornwall, Worcestershire and Santiago, Spain.
Mr Lowdon said he was influenced by Czanne, Rembrandt and David Bonberg, and described his work as "next to figurative, standing on the edge of abstraction".
Over the past 20 years he has exhibited in London, Germany and France.
He also won an award from the Royal Academy, which allowed him to travel around Greece, Spain, France and Portugal.
"I am now hoping to make a name for myself here," he said.
All the pieces will be on sale at the exhibition at 15 St Peter's Drive, Droitwich, which runs from 10am to 4pm and 6-8pm until Saturday.
