DELIGHTED Dean Bennett will be plotting the downfall of Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday after grabbing the winner at Lincoln City.
Bennett said his third goal of the season was a reward for Harriers' patience after a professional display.
The former Bromsgrove Rovers man said: "The gaffer said it might take the full 90 minutes to break them down but we had to keep plugging away.
"We're just happy to get three wins on the trot for the first time in Division Three and now all I can say is bring on Rushden!"
Bennett continued: "I seem to be getting chances at the right time lately. But I still feel I should have set a goal up at the end which could have buried the game.
"I suppose I have to keep my concentration and I took a bit of stick from the lads because it was a three-on-one!
"I'm happy to be scoring at the moment, just as long as we are winning.
"We are certainly getting more consistency away from home which is something to build on. I also thought the defence did well because Lincoln had big men up-front.
"We were all disappointed to be knocked out of the FA Cup but we said straight away that we now have to work on our league results.
"It was news to me when I was moved up-front but we had a few chances. I was unlucky with a header and Colin Larkin's nearly scored.
"We are creating and hopefully we will start finishing them off more."
Now Bennett is looking forward to the Rushden clash with fond memories of the encounters in the Conference-winning season.
He added: "It was a brilliant atmosphere when we last played and there is rivalry there.
"I don't think they will come to Aggborough like Darlington. There will be a bit more attacking from them."
