KIDDERMINSTER Cricket Club will host Worcestershire's County Championship Division Two match against Nottinghamshire which will open at Chester Road on Thursday, August 8.
Last season the County played Durham at Kidderminster in the Championship Division Two and lost by seven wickets.
It was the fifth campaign on the trot that they have tasted defeat at Chester Road in the Championship.
They have now won six, lost five and drawn four since first-class fixtures resumed at the Birmingham League club's headquarters in 1987 following a 14-year break.
Because of flood damage to New Road last term the County switched two matches -- in the Norwich Union League against Sussex and in the Benson & Hedges Cup against Northamptonshire -- to Kidderminster. Both games ended in victory.
Worcestershire open their Championship programme next year with a match against Gloucestershire at New Road, starting on Friday, April 19.
