HOCKEY: A superb 2-1 win at Lewes has moved Stourport to third in the National Hockey League Division One.
Laith El Khabib continued his run of goals by scoring both in this match, one in each half.
El Khabib grabbed the only goal of the first half from open play on 33 minutes.
After the break, Lewes equalised when a shot from the edge of the circle went into the roof of the net.
But El Khabib added his second with a low drag flick from a penalty corner with just five minutes to go.
He has scored seven goals this season, including cup games.

Yet another David Knott hat-trick put Stourport on their road to victory with Nick Chambers and Andy Pocknell adding two goals each.
The seconds have now scored 19 goals in three matches with 12 for Knott and 10 for Tom White.

Regular scorers Chris Perry, Ian Lye and Steve Odell grabbed the points for Stourport.
Lye and Perry, along with Harry Willetts, have scored four each so far this season.

The fourths' run of nine successive wins came to an end in a top-of-the-table clash.
The goal came in the first half but though it was a tight match, Stourport enjoyed more chances.
Ben Madden is the team's top scorer with seven, while Steve Taylor has six.

Stourport had to play much of the fixture with 10 men as Mike Crawley received a red card and they were beaten heavily.

The sixths had veterans Robin Conway, David Read and Peter Mills to thank for the goals which all came from penalty corners.
Conway put Stourport ahead before half-time but then Stourport gave away an untidy goal.
Read put Stourport back in the lead when a corner came back out to him and he struck firmly in off the far post.
Mills added the third after a clever short-corner move.
Old Hales would not give up and pulled one back from a free hit.
Frank Colwill is the team's top scorer with nine goals.

The veterans suffered their first defeat of the season following seven wins.
Two of the Olton goals came in the last few minutes of the match.
Stourport Badgers 1 Wednesbury 0
The Badgers, made up a a maximum of three adults and some of the club's promising youngsters, have made an outstanding start to their league programme.
They have won all five matches and only conceded one goal.
James Powell scored his third of the season to decide the clash with Wednesbury.
Top scorer so far is Gareth Whale with four.
Much of the credit for the development of the side goes to Peter Terry, Nick Lewis and Steve Li.

Stourport Ladies 2nds 4
The ladies continued their winning way with a Worcestershire Second Division victory.
Rosie Williams put them ahead on 12 minutes following a penalty corner only for Cresconians to level before the break.
However, in the second half, Alison Baron restored the Stourport lead from a short-corner 10 minutes after the re-start.
Kim Johnson added the third following a tussle in the D.
Captain Teri Baron, the team's top scorer, added the fourth of the match and her 10th this season.
