TWO antique chairs worth £1,000 each were stolen from a Wyre Forest church during a spate of similar thefts.
The Jacobean triangular seats were taken from the chancel of St Peter's Church, Astley, at 10.27am on Saturday, November 10.
Two other antique chairs worth £1,000 and £2,000 respectively were taken the same morning from St Peter's Church, Stoke Bliss, and St Bartholomew's Church, Harpley.

Two antique horse-drawn traps, each worth £2,000, were stolen from stables in Cookley.
They date back to 1890 and were taken at around 8.45pm on Wednesday, November 13.
The traps were driven away on a flat-bed lorry, which was seen heading in the general direction of Stourbridge.
One of the traps is a dark blue Ralli, with navy blue leather seats.
The other is a dark blue spindle-back gig, also with navy blue leather seats.
It has yellow linings on the wheels.
Kidderminster police have appealed to anyone who saw the lorry carrying the traps or who has other information to contact them on 01562 820888 or Crimestoppers, on 0800 555111.
