TWO women who wrongly believed a man had been making indecent phone calls stormed into his maisonette home, a court heard.
Judge Michael Mott said Mandy Baker and Kim Kirby had taken part in vigilante action without a shred of evidence.
Baker, 40, of Park Street, Kidderminster, was convicted of affray after a trial. Kirby, 41, of Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, pleaded guilty to affray.
Both were given two-year community rehabilitation orders. Baker was also ordered to carry out 50 hours community service.
The women burst into the home of Timothy Yapp in Grasmere Close and terrified him, his partner, four children and two visitors, said Tariq Shakoor, prosecuting at Worcester Crown Court.
They were forced from the house but returned later when Baker threw a child's bike through a window and two other windows were smashed.
Nicolas Cartwright, for Kirby, said she was under the influence of drink and had scant recollection of what happened.
Lee Masters, defending, said Baker was a mother-of-four who still looked after her two younger children.
