Perdiswell Braves 5,

Peopleton U-14 1

THIS first round cup tie was worthy of the final itself and closer than the final scoreline would suggest.

Further goals by Craig Stanley, Liam Hunley and Alex Trinder completed a fine all-round team performance.

Littleton 2, Vale Yth 3

FOLLOWING a poor run of results Vale should have settled this cup game early when Alex Spencer scored in the opening minute.

However, Vale failed to find the net again and paid the price when Littleton got more into the game and equalised on the stroke of half-time.

Littleton converted a corner after the restart from ex-Vale player Russell Hawtree. Vale had to make swift changes but still couldn't break down a determined defence until they scored with a brilliant Chris Aston free-kick.

Badsey Rgrs U-12 7,

Churchdown Panthers 0

A SCRAPPY first half saw Rangers met by a packed Panthers defence but they still managed to hit the net three times.
