THE vacant post at Stourport Swifts has attracted huge interest according to the club's chairman but Chris Reynolds is not expecting to appoint a successor to Rod Brown for at least another couple of weeks.
Player-coach Brendan Hackett remains in a caretaker position at Walshes Meadow and Reynolds has not ruled out giving him the job.
"He's still very much in the frame and I've obviously spoken to him at great length," he said.
"But I have a lot of other people to see and I need to make the best decision for the club.
"We've had lots of interest but what is becoming clear is just how much the game is money orientated now. Some people want the earth."
Among the likely candidates are former Bilston boss Joe Jackson and Mark Harrison, manager of Midland Alliance leaders Stourbridge who surprisingly lost his job this week.
