WYRE Forest folk are being asked to put a smile on the faces of needy children this Christmas by donating toys.
It is the third time Boots has joined forces with the Salvation Army and ITV for the appeal which last year netted 466,000 toys nationwide worth nearly £2.5 million.
Gifts, which should be unwrapped, do not have to be expensive and this year organisers are particularly keen to receive more presents for teenagers, particularly boys.
Toys can be left at participating Boots stores and will then distributed by the Salvation Army to families with children in need.
The appeal runs until December 16.
