WITH no League fixture this weekend for Malvern First XV they set their sights on a first round North Midlands Cup tie away at Selly Oak on Sunday, kick-off 2pm.
Although their hosts are now three divisions below Malvern, the Spring Lane side see this as a possible 'banana skin' and will not be taking the tie lightly.
Returning to the side for the first time since injury is winger Ben Hughes with a debut for former Upton player Ollie Banwell, who had been in good form for the second XV recently.
Another player returning from a long term injury is Paul Hart who gets a place on the replacements bench.
Malvern director of rugby Dave Robins said: "We cannot afford to take this game for granted. It was only a few years ago we were playing Selly Oak in the league. They will certainly be 'up' for this match and looking to cause an upset with a victory."
