Pupils at Upton CE Primary have proved how a few pennies can go a long way.
They collected 12,212 1p coins for Children in Need - enough to go round the school hall nearly seven times.
The youngsters raised a total of £354 for the appeal through a variety of events. These included £105 from a non-uniform day, £79.40 from a cake sale and £47 from a name the teddy competition.
Headteacher Mark Mumby thanked everyone for their support.
He said: "The events have been a huge success in raising funds and have been a lot of enjoyment for the children."
