Jazz and blues legend Van Morrison is performing at Malvern's Forum Theatre next Saturday, December 1.
The author of such classics as Brown-Eyed Girl is playing two performances at 6pm and 8.45pm in his first appearance at Malvern Theatres.
Van Morrison is renowned for his soulful singing and harmonica playing and his blend of jazz, Celtic music and the blues.
He first tasted success with the Irish R&B group Them who recorded the 1960s hit Baby, Please Don't Go.
He turned solo in 1967 and a year later recorded the acclaimed Astral Weeks.
Van has recorded with many other stars including The Chieftains, Georgie Fame and John Lee Hooker, with whom he won a Grammy for their collaboration Don't Look Back.
In 1999 he released the Back on Top which gave him his first solo top 40 hit with Precious Time.
But he has always felt most at home on the road and he continues to tour regularly, including dates at the Ross International Festival.
