CALLOW End Harriers FC travelled to Fromes Hill last Sunday with seven first team players unavailable for this Malvern Football League Division One fixture and it was no real surprise that Harriers were soundly beaten by their opponents.

FROMES HILL 8, CALLOW END HARRIERS 0

Great goalkeeping by Harriers keeper Ady Whittal-Williams and stout defending by Chris O'Neill, James Nightingale and Adam Lowndes restricted the home side to a 2-0 lead at the interval in a half which saw Callow End Harriers create very little in terms of scoring opportunities.

Harriers held out during the early exchanges of the second half, but, as the Harriers players legs began to tire, a spell in which Fromes Hill found the net six times enabled the home side to run out easy 8-0 victors in the end.
