MALVERN Victoria got off to a resounding start in their defence of the Malvern Hills Indoor Bowls Inter Club League last Saturday, the situation wasn't helped by Tewkesbury turning up with a rink missing and had to forfeit two points before a bowl was delivered.
This set up the Vic's who went on to win all the other four games, Eddie King's rink winning by the massive score of 48-4. Fourteen points in the bag and a good start but Eastnor played again on Sunday beating Ledbury 105-75. Eastnor won on four rinks enabling them to climb to the top of the table with 16 points.
Tomorrow (Saturday) at 2.30pm Malvern Hills entertain Gloucester.
