ROD Brown is prepared to be patient in his search for a striker to bolster Stourport Swifts' ranks.
The Swifts boss, whose side went third in the Dr Martens League Western Division after Tuesday's 2-0 win over Cirencester, is looking for talent from a higher level.
He has released forward Nathan Harvey to Oldbury after the youngster failed to hit the target in his short spell.
Veteran Tim Langford is still around a week away from playing after struggling with hamstring trouble.
Brown does have top scorer Lee Booth, scorer of 14 goals already, on fire in time for Saturday's game at Sutton Coldfield Town.
But he admitted: "I'm searching for a real top-notch striker and I'm not going to get just anybody.
"They need to have played at a higher level and I'm waiting for the right opportunity to get someone from the league above.
"I've tried a couple of names but haven't got them and I've got a few others in mind. But we've got enough in our squad at the moment to cope."
Brown already has 25 league points towards his 35 target and believes his side are the most hard-working outfit around.
He feels his five-man midfield is stifling teams but admits Swifts have a challenge on their hands to improve their away form on Saturday.
Brown, who has also released defender Anthony Davies, added: "Sutton have a terrible pitch, the worst in the division, and you have to change your pattern of play.
"We have got to look at maybe being a bit more aggressive away from home."
Utility man Willie Dunn is out for three weeks with a knee ligament tear, while keeper Rob Clarke (groin) and Dave Davies face fitness tests. Reserve keeper Adrian Hipkins stands by.
