DR Martens League new boys Stourport Swifts round-off their pre-season campaign at Hellenic League side North Leigh on Saturday.
And they make the trip safe in the knowledge that influential midfielder Alex Cowley looks like winning his race to get fit after giving club bosses an injury scare.
The former West Brom youngster hobbled out of last Saturday's Joe McGorian Cup defeat by Stourbridge and looked doubtful for the club's Western Division opener with Shepshed Dynamo next week.
But further tests on the winger's foot injury showed nothing more than severe bruising.
A late Phil Marsden strike came too late for Swifts in their 2-1 beating from Stourbridge at Walshes Meadow.
The visitors netted either side of half-time through new signings Chris Pearce and Brian Gray to lift the trophy - the Midland Football Alliance cup winners beating the league champions.
But it has been a mixed bag for manager Rod Brown with two other Alliance sides being beaten by his Swifts outfit.
Two goals from Adrian Cooper and a Cowley strike clinched a 3-0 victory over Boldmere St Michaels last Thursday.
And Swifts will be even happier with a 3-0 success over Worcestershire neighbours Bromsgrove Rovers on Tuesday.
Cooper, Simon Marsh and Willie Dunn did the damage.
